The Hotel Villa Liana is situated in an antique villa dating back to 19th century, that used to house the British consulate when Florence was the capital of Italy. The hotel is placed in a tranquil street in the centre of Florence, ten minutes walk from the Dome and 15 minutes from Fortezza da Basso, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. The ambient is characterized by a familiar atmosphere, elegant and comfortable typical of a small hotel like ours and it's a natural reference point for a relaxing Florentine holiday. The hotel encloses a nice English style garden, where guests can relax reading a book or drinking tea.

Close to here you will find the romantic gardens so estimated by the English and Americans. The Botanic gardens, founded in 1545, is complete of full-grown trees and vegetable spicies in the flowerbeds, in this garden known as "Il giardino dei Simplici". The Monastery of Saint Marco collects the most important works of Beato Angelico. Close by are also the Piazza SS. Annunziata, famous renaissance square, the archaeological museum; the Hebrew synagogue and the Hebrew cemetery.
