Hitler's Germany Walking Tour - Berlin

From 1933 to 1945 Germany was ruled by Adolf Hitler’s fascist dictatorship: The Third Reich. For twelve years Berlin was the nerve centre of a system of hate, barbarity, and terror. This tour will show you where the Nazi’s most fearful institutions were, and how WWII and the battle of Berlin brought it all to an end.

On this walking tour you will see where Speer built the huge New Reich Chancellery for Hitler and where the vast People’s Hall would have stood.

You’ll see Hermann Göring’s aviation ministry, the remains of Heinrich Himmler’s SS & Gestapo headquarters, and stand before the Reichstag, Germany’s parliament, where the Nazi’s rule started in 1933 and was symbolically ended by Soviet forces in the Battle of Berlin in 1945.

Using the latest historical research, your expert guide will address how Hitler schemed his way to power, how some Germans attempted to resist him, and how these enormous crimes continue to cast their shadow over Germany today.
