Pompeii and Naples - from Naples
Don't miss this opportunity to visit the iconic Pompeii, possibly the most well known example of a Roman residential town in the world and why not combine this with a city tour of Naples!
You will start with a visit to the world famous Pompeii. The tour of Pompeii is approximately two hours in duration and will include all the sights in the ancient city including the baths, bakeries, arena and brothel. This is simply unmissable if visiting this apart of Italy! After the guided visit of Pompeii you will then be able to take in a Cameo and Corals factory which is very close to the ruins and be able to observe the manufacturing process and even do some shopping! The stop here will only be approximately 30 mins.
You will also be able to sample a light lunch at restaurant Vesuvius which is reachable on foot.
After lunch and all this excitement it’s back to Naples to continue the tour where you will be treated to a panoramic tour of the city taking the best it has to offer. In the early afternoon you'll see the panoramic area of Naples including Posillipo and Mergellina. After this you will get to visit the new city center to view the most important sites such as Plebiscito Square, Gallery Umberto I, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre and even the New Castle.
You will then conclude the tour with a visit to the ancient city center of Naples, taking in the main street, known as Spaccanapoli, and the Piazza del Gesu Nuovo.
