Wild Colours Tour - Scenery of Mauritius and Rum

On this trip around the south west of the island you will discover spectacular scenery, just don't forget your camera!

Start your day in the mountainous region at the heart of Mauritius. Upon arrival at the highest point in Curepipe you can admire the view overlooking the formant volcano "Trou aux Cerfs", which is now home to abundant plant life.

The tour then takes you to a completely different landscape, to the sacred lake of Grand Bassin, a place of worship to the Hindu community.
Afterwards we will continue to the Black River Gorges, a real sanctuary of endemic fauna and flora.

At the "Rhumerie de Chamarel", a local rum distillery, the secret of rum production will be unveiled, ending with a rum tasting session. Your taste buds will be further indulged by fine Mauritian cuisine during lunch at l'Alchimiste restaurant.

To bring your day to a charming end, you will be taken to the spectacular coloured earth of Chamarel, a unique geological phenomenon, with its waterfall and surrounded by lush vegetation.
